How Can I Improve my outline for Spousal Abuse?

March 42010

I need further assistance with my research paper. What can I eliminate or revise? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

~* Outline*~
I.} Beginning Signs of Spousal Abuse

II.} Spousal Abuse against Women

III.} Spousal Abuse against women

IV.} Living with Abuse

V.} Getting Help

Thanx in advanced
sorry I made a typo….

III.} Spousal Abuse Against Men

Firstly, a flowery design does NOT belong anywhere on a school-based or professional paper, nor do the brackets you used which are used for math, not english. Secondly, you have a topic listed twice "Spousal Abuse Against Women". Try something such as this:

Introduction:
Spousal Abuse against Women

1.) Spousal Abuse Statistics
a.) How prevalent is spousal abuse?
b.) How many women are actively seeking help?

2.) Living with Spousal Abuse
a.) Effects on women
b.) Effects on children
c.) Effects on community

3.) Getting Help
b.) When to get help
a.) Resources available

4.) Conclusion Summary

Attention to detail goes a long way in improving your writing. It will certainly show, in your finished product, whether you took the time and put effort into your paper.

Hope that helps

Why does some of the countries in the Middle East get so much heat for their abuse of women?

March 22010

and not other countries like Mexico? In many of Mexico’s states, violence against women is still not considered a crime, and freedom of the press remains elusive. Journalists are a lot of times targeted and killed simply for telling the truth. Last year alone, Mexico had deaths of 10 journalists, according to the World Press. I wish that people know that abuse of women and lack of freedoms occurs in other countries as well. The governments in the Middle East and Mexico should be comdemed and taken to court and tried for their abuse.
I’m getting un-educated answers. Oh well. Anyways, so just because Mexico isn’t a Islamic country, its ok for Mexico to abuse women and freedoms?

BECAUSE IT IS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY!!!

Why are feminist so quick to marginalize abuse against men – but not women?

February 282010

When members here have mentioned the possibility of Tiger Woods being abused by his lovely wife with a golf club, the general reply from feminists has been to the effect of:

"lets wait and see what the outcome is – I don’t really believe this…"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1239225/Tiger-Woodss-wife-Elin-battered-iron-caught-texting-mistress.html

But, how many times have those same feminists claimed that women don’t report men who abuse them and so it must be so much more than the stats reveal.

It seems to me, feminists hold a double standard (yes, yet another).
Summer – feminists insist they do not hate men (while their actions suggest otherwise).. Nazi’s were honest about their hatred.

I’ll go you one better:

If the circumstances were identical save for the sexes of the parties involved, feminists would have insisted that abuse had taken place and that this showed how victims of abuse were intimidated not to press charges. The "wait and see" attitude would have been labeled "enabling" if not outright condoning abuse.

And another thing: if it were revealed that Rhianna or some other female victim of domestic violence had been unfaithful and that this had somehow motivated the attack, feminists would have screamed from the rooftops about "blaming the victim" whenever the media covered the cheating.

The double standards keep adding up.

It is certainly true that domestic violence against women does put more people into the ER or the morgue than domestic violence against men. But that in no way justifies the complete double standard in the way the cases are treated.

One reason I don’t call myself "feminist". That means I don’t consider women human or I don’t think I should be able to vote? PUH-LEEZE!

Share your stories on the wall please and invite others who you know who may want help or to join!
To the second answer.. I am very sorry that that has happend to you. Yes I do know that there are men out there being abused, the only reason I made it about women and children is that I can relate to that more since Im a girl and am still currently being abused at the age of 17 by my father and have felt that there is no way out. He has pushed me, thrown things at me, grabbed my neck and shoved me into walls, thrown me into corners of walls, told me he was going to kill me, calls me it and so much more. My weight=128 His=260 fair? I was never sexualy abused and I only made it about what I know but I would love for you to join my group and make it better since you have experiences that I don’t and educate others on your abuse. I only made it yesterday so it is not the way I want it yet. I really want people like you who are hurting to share your expiriences with the world to help others. I am very sorry if I made you feel left out or not cared for because I do care about your pain too.

yes of course but what about men or boys i was abused for 5 years both sexually and physically and it took me a long time before i could talk about it i suffered for years to the point i ended up trying to kill myself also turned into a heroin addict for 15 years to forget not that you do people only seem to think about women never men none are acceptable more help should be out there also how hard do you think it is for a man to admit he is in an abusive relationship with a woman also what help can you give me before i open up anymore can you heal the pain i doubt it

Why don’t moderate Muslims speak out against terrorism and the abuse of Islamic women?

February 222010

Are they afraid of being shunned by other Muslims or do they secretly agree with a more radical interpretation of Islam?
What abuse of women in Turkey?

they do

love hurts- rise in domestic abuse against woman?

February 202010

i dont know if its just me but as a young woman im hearing more and more these days about women being hit by their boyfriends, and just in the news- as we probably all heard Chris brown assaulted Rhianna. i also here of many young teenage boys who say they would hit a woman, and some think that its okay- to me its a bitch move- why is this continuing to happen? is it ever gonna stop? if your a guy and you hit women why?

It won’t stop until women "stop" taking it.
The facts are out there and in their faces, what to look for, have the physical strength and intelligence to walk out the first time.
Learn that "Sorry, doesn’t help when the damage has been done"!!
Learn, anger management has "NOT" got a high success rate.
Women do this to themselves by making up all the excuses to stay.
The abusive personality looks for certain "traits" in women, the hard up for love type, those who think little of themselves, those who will hang on to any relationship rather than be alone, those who cling and "need" someone to hang off of, the dependent type, they know darn well who will and won’t take that type of treatment.
It is women who need to smarten up and until they do, it’s gonna keep happening.
But also remember…there are women and cops who abuse these laws that are made to protect women,. You’d be shocked if i told you a thing or two i have witnessed, it is these @ss*oles i’d like to see take a beating.
So take what you hear with a grain of salt, if you don’t know the other side personally, don’t judge, women are really taking advantage of the situation and are far more "petty" than any men could be.

THERE’S NO EXCUSE FOR ABUSE AGAINST WOMAN!
