This is a vid i made for a project in order to raise awareness and knowledge around domestic violence and help stop it even if it’s only a lttle bit.Please rate, comment, and spread the word on this vid. Also i’m going to make another amv soon so be on the look out. Stop all the raping, death,sexual, emotional, and phisical abuse.

The arrest of Golden Beach’s town manager comes on the heels of a CBS4 News investigation last month that revealed police Lieutenant Robert Barrio has been allowed to continue working, despite felony domestic violence charges pending against him. Barrio is accused of kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery in an attack on his wife last year in Alachua County. Diaz and Golden Beach police chief Jim Skinner came under criticism from some town residents, and from experts on domestic violence, for not suspending the cop.

This program offers free and confidential services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our trained staff and volunteers provide immediate support and information to help clients deal with crises and offer follow-up assistance to deal with ongoing related issues.

According to PCAR (Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape):

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before the age of 18.

90% of all children know their abuser personally.

1 in 4 teens in a relationship say they have been called names, harassed or put down by their partner through cell phones and texting.

Digital communication is an integral part of teens lives and this fairly unchartered digital space has created new challenges for teens as they start to experience intimate relationships. Unfortunately, dating abuse in the digital world is increasingly becoming a serious problem unique to the millennial generation of teens.

Cellphones and the internet have become prime environment for controlling behavior, such as sending unwanted text messages or pressuring for nude pictures, that can be abusive or lead to relationship violence.
In an effort to prevent teen dating abuse and help teens build healthy relationships, the Ad Council has partnered with the Family Violence Prevention Fund and the Office on Violence Against Women on a national, multimedia PSA campaign.

The new PSAs are designed to help teens recognize digital dating abuse and provide them with the tools to initiate a conversation about this issue. The PSAs direct teens to visit www.ThatsNotCool.com were they are encouraged to draw their own lines around what is, or is not, acceptable relationship behavior and seek help from their peers.

PA Firefighter Tarrant accused of abuse, threat, terror

Police say Pittsburgh firefighter George Tarrant is accused of telling his wife “he was going to kill her first before he kills everyone else” and leaving bullets out that had his wife’s name written on them. Previous history of domestic violence. Fire chief does not have the power to fire firefighers.
