what happen in court in massachusetts when a man is charged with domestic violence and intimidation to witness

my ex beat me up early january. i got a police report and they came and took pictures of me. it wasnt horrable he gave my a lump under my eye a little one and bruised my arm. as wel hes being charged with intimidation to a witness he took my phone when i tried to call polce… does anyone think hell get time for this? please respond back. i already filled for a restraining order
he will probably get some jail time at the very least
