The song is “I’m Okay” by Christina Aguilera and the video clips are from the music video of “How Come, How Long” by Babyface and Stevie Wonder. I got the pictures and stastics from various websites.

One of the biggest problems with DV is the justice system. I know that its a complicated subject, but the law needs to PROTECT the victims and worry about their rights and not the rights of the abusers! Great video

my partner beat me …
my partner beat me 10 years ago, so bad nobody recognised me, he went to anger managment and after 5 months i took him back, BIG mistake, 2 weeks ago he beat me again with a heavy weapon and broke my spine. LEAVE now and never go back, woman beaters never change!

I grew up without a …
I grew up without a father, but my mother was tough as nails. When I was a kid, the guy upstairs from us regularly beat his wife and picked on old people. One day he decided to come down and hit my mother – BIG mistake. When he forced himself in the house, my mother picked up a large, heavy cooking spoon and beat him over the head (blood everywhere) plus threw hot boiling water all over him. He ran upstairs like a coward and never bothered anyone again. He even stop beating his wife.

And I hope you, anyone reading this, and God forgives me for silently applauding that women shoving that ras through the window! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone (including myself, formerly) going through abuse, but I wonder how frequent and persistent abusive men would remain if they knew ‘we have it in us’ to stop them for good!!!! I agree with the message here. IF HE’S ABUSING YOU, LEAVE! Don’t let him compromise your freedom, sanity, or pride or it could RUIN EVERYTHING YOU ARE AND HAVE!
