You r just a rubbish gods of war! Even a ‘bitch’ has a much better conscience that you! If uncovering the body is a sin (though she is doing nothing vulger!), it’s a much greater sin to watch it and make such comments! I’m ashamed to call u meaner than an animal as I believe that animals never humiliate another sex in the meanest form like u! They are far better than u, stupid!

After slapping the girl, when she was crying, the man said, “oh! what’s wrong with this?” (”are, tate ki hoyechhe?”)

Then the voice behind the screen says -

“Today 47% women of our country are victims of domestic violence. The number will increase more tomorrow. What’s wrong with this?

    You people answer…”

The girl and the boy were involved in a romantic relationship, got engaged and then married. The girl became pregnant and gave birth to a baby. However, the attitude of the boy gradually changed. He turned from a sympathetic partner to an insensitive, cruel and violent husband (didn’t give attention to the girl and continued talking over phone, switched off the light while the girl was reading book at night and finally beat the girl when she was a bit late to open the door).

I’m explaining the clip for people who don’t understand Bangla.

It’s a consciousness raising clip made and campaigned by the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs of Bangladesh and DFID. The major TV channels of Bangladesh are broadcasting the clip regularly.

    The song says-

“You filled my heart with colors, smells, rhythms and music.
You’ve colored yourself and then me.
What an astonishing play it is!
You are my spring, fire of color and an eternal source pleasure.
    I’m lost in your loveliness.”
