im sure men get hit by their girlfriends.. but honestly how many men have you known to be actually taken by a female? actually beat and bruised and put in the hospital or coffin for that matter?.. doubt you know many and if you do then you must have a different lifestyle then most people..

I think violence …
I think violence against women is hilarious. I am a 6′4″ 235 lb police officer who uses my job as an excuse to manhandle women half my size. You’ve never seen an attitude shift so fast. Those feminist types are so mouthy because they think everyone is equal. A single backhand from someone over 100 lbs heavier is all it takes to convince them of reality. They may start out all defiant but in the end they all cry and beg for mercy. God I love my job!!

I am sorry you are …
I am sorry you are having a hard time. The domestic violence shelter where I volunteer serves dozens of women. We have groups for men, and actively advertise them. One man has shown up. The men’s center has a survivor’s group; four men attend that. Women are just as ashamed as men to be assaulted and raped. It’s horrible for anyone. The men who are assaulted are usually assaulted by other men, and the women who assault usually assault other women. It’s a matter of relative size and power.

Whn I aprochd the “Spousal abuse center” wch is gvrnmntly funded 2 hndle bth wmn AND mn, I wsnt abl 2 get thru 2 the ONLY prsn ther tht wuld speak 2 me. SHE told me tht ther may b sm hlp a 250 miles from where I live. MORE importantly, Women are JUST AS AGGRESSIVE if not more-so as men. We are just too embarrased to come out and say something! Please check your facts.

There are advocates …
There are advocates for male victims. Call any of the domestic violence hotlines (even if they’re advertised as for women) and they will put you in touch with support for male survivors. The reason you hear more about violence by men against women is that the overwhelming majority of the time it is men who are committing the violence. Maybe if women were physically larger than men it would be the other way around, but it’s not.

Many of these videos are put together very well. I have yet to see anything about women being the aggressors. Why is it there are no advocates for male victims?

Abuse towards women …
Abuse towards women or children is an unjustifiable act. There is no excuse for commiting such an offense.
Having said that, another issue which is not spoken of, is getting these men some help. I do not believe that all of these men struck their wives just because. With economic woes and the reductions of employment, stress is higher than ever. Some men feel helpless, and when helplessness and testosterone mix, these urfortunate events occur.
I am not defending these criminals OK!

they don’t get hit but to break the cycle I should have gotten out sooner. I am so sorry for her, but now if a man hits me I take a ball bat and go to town If her man comes around here I have no problem taking my bat out he is not welcomed here.

i am trying to get …
i am trying to get my daughter to get to a shelter. I can’t help her because my house is small My two grandkids suffer I have offered to take them but, I think its she wants to go now because I told her she has to help herself then others will help and its not because someone likes it when somebody treats you like this they twist it to make it feel like it is your doing something wrong the best thing is to get couseling after, I stayed for 11 years but I got out

maybe you dont understand why we go back or stay maybe its because all i had when i left was my 3 children and a trash bag of clothes with 3 crying babies in a cold strange place who do we trust?so yes i went back it was warm,had food,and he said he was SORRY .. i left him for good 4 years ago and had to start over i am still struggling to make it but I WILL and I WILL BE STRONGER and my kids are growing up without D/V in their lives WE WILL SURVIVE but it has been long and hard
