What do you think about violence against men?
February 222010
This is a serious issue. I’ve come across a feminist whore on Y!A who thinks that violence against men is okay.
Thanks to radical feminism and women privilege, women tend to get away with domestic violence. If men report that they’ve been abused, they’ll get arrested or be looked down upon as a wimp. Men can be falsely accused of rape and have his reputation ruined. People think that violence against men is funny.
What do you think of women who get away with domestic violence or makes false rape allegations (a white woman thing)?
This is not true in Wisconsin, that much I can say…and that’s probably indicative of the rest of the country. Very often when there is a big argument or a physical one, the man is the one who has been violent (sorry but it’s a fact) – however, I see it all the time where a woman goes too far and the guy calls the cops, or neighbors call the cops because they hear the distrubance and when the cops get there the guys says it was the woman doing it (which it may have been), and she goes to jail.
I have heaps of female clients accused of domestic abuse. Usually it’s a one-time thing though, or very minor like she is scratching him or slapping him; it’s not like she is pummelling him or breaking his bones like we see male abusers doing – most women just aren’t strong enough to do that to a man.

Can you give an example of a man getting arrested for reporting that he was domestically abused?

this is not true, women get theirs when they are found guilty. if you get slapped for calling a woman a whore, whether she is a lady or not, you provoke it, and since by your sense of reasoning and expression, you well deserve it.
women are being prosecuted for rape and molestations as well. If a man is getting whipped on He should document and call the cops. put a stop to it. there is no reason to put hands on and when anyone is in a relationship like that no matter who provokes the violence they should walk away.

I am opposed to violence against ANYBODY.
And you lost ALL credibility when you used the phrase "feminist whore".

I think you’ve got the right handle to reflect your worldview. All violence is reprehensible, and just because there are rare instances of women committing domestic violence against men does not discredit the feminist movement one bit.

I know from personal knowledge that you’re clueless – or simply a troll with too much time on his hands.
Oh, and a sexist troll at that.

Sadly I think the above answers kind of prove your point.
There was an item on the news here in the UK a couple of weeks ago which said that men were the victims in around 20% of domestic abuse cases but that the true figure was likely to be much higher because the stigma deters men from telling anyone or reporting it.
It really isn’t a laughing matter.

Well… you almost had a decent question there… but you ruined it with name calling and racial slurs.
There is violence against men. I’ve met female abusers as well as male abusers. The defining issue is one of whether there is a pattern of abuse perpetrated on one person by another, regardless of gender or race.

It is a disparity that needs to be seriously addressed, but there is no reason for name calling and stereotyping.

I’m with UP. If you really wanted sincere answers you wouldn’t throw in racial slurs. Its really hard to make a point against discrimination when you make discriminatory comments.
