the reason why men don’t say anything about domestic violence is not because they will be called wimps,but because men always get arrested when they call for domestic violence.

I know what you mean, I am a girl and I too feel that abuse is abuse and that no one (regardless of what gender you were born with) should have to go through this because in the end we are all human beings with feelings and emotions.
We all feel pain, sadness, fear, etc.
You injustice should not stand, it is wrong but if no one makes it public, then the masses will never care.
Anyone who truly believes in gender equality should stand up and fight for this.

my ex gf attacked me in a drunken rage with a bat i took the bat away from her and then I grabbed her by the neck and chokeslammed her against the wall as hard as i could i told her if she tried something like that again i would beat the out of her

unfortunately your mother is right men do deserve it, we learn this fact since preschool and we except it in high school, those men that don’t except this become very defensive and they get persecuted by people that call themselves feminists.

My last live-in gf was like this… started out sweet and a year later she had turned into a monster. Bloodshed and bruises served as FOREPLAY for her, and a good beating got her aroused!
After half a dozen 911 calls from neighbors, and no arrests, I had had enough…

It must be very dificult for a man to say other people that he has been hit by his wife, for example. But this exist, there are men who are abused by women. I thing for a man, it’s more difficult to recongnize that a girl is abusing him, because in our society we think that men are stronger than women, and if a man say that his wife or couple treat him bad, nobody will believe him, and even he will be ashamed for that. I think that domestic violence will continue existing, while we don’t have a good education about this topic. We must take care about being victims and more important we must also avoid being abusers.
