Domestic Violence – 1 in 4 Women (part 4 of 4) – Interview with Erin Pizzey and Angry Harry

March 62010

The domestic violence industry debunked by Erin Pizzey: it’s about money and Feminist control.

An analysis of the most commonly cited statistic in the domestic violence roadshow: 1 in 4 women experience domestic violence in their lifetimes . Looks at the way DV has been made into a gender issue when this is demonstrably false and the reasons men are wrongly and deliberately singled out for blame.

    Did you not listen …
Did you not listen to the story related in the last part of the video? Clearly not as you choose instead comment about the use of the word “enormity”. The key point is that DV is NOT gender specific and that to deny that means that a significant number of victims and perpetrators are ignored because people have swallowed the insidious lie that all DV is committed exclusively by men against women and / or children .

I don’t care what you studied. Many feminists hold Phd’s but that doesn’t make what they say true.

grapevine, I studied psychology, so I know what Im talking about. You can find any statistics you need online, from reputable researche(r)s, I cant post them here.

    You seem very sure …
You seem very sure of these broad statistics. Please share your sources. I bet you that you can’t.
The trouble with people like you is that you only scratch the surface on serious issues. You think that because you read a newspaper article or watch the evening news you are educated.

This means DV IS a …
This means DV IS a gender related problem (men), every country can guarantee that. Why lie about it? Because there are some men who cant take responsibility for their own actions and rather blame someone else. Very weak.

  6. summersonset Says:

    There is no …
There is no enormity of female violence. In every western/northern european country, inlcuding UK and Scandinavia, DV’s perpetrators are predominantly men, around 75 to 90%. This mean the rest is done by women. Is that enermous (women)? Ofcourse not. Does it show men are abused by women as well and that is a problem? Yes. But who are the majority perpetrators? Men. And that is a fact.

  7. summersonset Says:

    Yes, males are the …
Yes, males are the victims of males and perpetrators of male violence, that is correct. So, there needs to be done something about that.
The next category is males abusing women. But the first is male to male violence, number 1 problem. Why not work on fixing that?

This is some disturbing stuff! I’m glad that you and others are getting this important information out now. I just hope more people start listening instead of having defensive chivalric responses to it.

    Being a HUMAN in …
Being a HUMAN in this world is what can suck.

While many cite inflated statistics to imply there is pervasive “wife battery” in our society, few point to the concrete crime stats, which overwhelmingly show that MALES are the primary victims of violence at all phases of life, including childhood.

A right beating at the hands of bullies, for instance, is a NORMAL experience in the life of a male child, at some point (if not more than once.) Most violent crimes in adulthood, are against males.

until you are a woman and have suffered mental and physicall abuse…. being a woman sucks in this world!

Thanks a lot for your support. It’s good to contribute to the men’s movement and be appreciated as well.

There is a lot more where this came from; I covered a lot of ground with Erin Pizzey, Angry Harry and others.

I wish there were more hours in the day to do the necessary editing, but as it is, the films will be released when ready. Watch this space!
