The thing about jokes is that they’re not above criticism; this joke doesn’t bother me because it’s offensive and makes light of a really serious issue, it bothers me because it’s boring and makes light of a really serious issue in a completely stupid, uncreative way and because of that people are laughing at it and liking it for the wrong reasons.

   In all honesty I found this video a bit too dull to either laugh at or be offended by it; it has all this boring build up to a predictable, mildly offensive joke. It’s way off-color and that apparently is where the humor is supposed to come from, the whole oh-haha-being-controversial-equals-funny thing and trying to use irony for humor but this just doesn’t work.
