Can I still press charges on my husband for Domestic Violence although it happened 2 weeks ago?

I was married for about 2 1\2 months in this time my husband started to hurt me. There were 2 times were he threw me and pushed me to the ground. The first i hit my forehead but didn’t take pictures and the last I ended up with bruises and I did take pictures. Would this be enough to charge him with Domestic Violence although it was 2 weeks ago? If charged what would he receive?
