7% of women (3.9 million) are physically abused by their partners, and 37% (20.7 million) are verbally or emotionally abused.
Every 9 seconds a woman is physically abused by her husband.
95% of assaults on spouses or ex-spouses are committed by men against women.
30% of women presenting with injuries to the emergency department had injuries caused by battering.
From 7% to 26% of pregnant women are abused.
42% of murdered women are killed by their intimate partners.

Pregnancy is a risk factor. Several studies indicate a range of incidence from 17% to 26% of pregnant women. (Public Health Nursing, 9/87)

i love this vid, but it is weird that there are ppl out ther that think girls are th only ones bing abuse by a boy, it happens the other way around alot but its not often reported b/c guys think they will seem weak

I know women …
I know women teenagers who go to demonstrations against gender abuse when they have mistreated other colleagues (also women) for many years (AND STILL DOING IT!) Psychologically at very high level …
AND ARE NOT ASHAMED OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING?!!

why did he hit her??she was so nice and wasnt mean no man should put hands on of girl thats not his own(daughter or so) No man should be hitting girls in the first place it rude..My aunt gets beat al the time by her boyfriend and shes scared to leave,i see all scars and she is scared to tell us whats happeneing so i found it..
