Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, AND I HAVE BEEN MADE VICTORIOUS WITH TERROR (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

How many Muslims do you know that would speak against Muhammad (ahadith) or Allah (Quran)? The peaceful Muslim’s (those who cherry pick what to follow and what not to) DO NOT HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON because the "radicals" are the ones who ARE following their texts.

Most of us DO speak against terrorism, but this is not what people want to hear. The media doesn’t want to show the good side of the muslims, that muslims are good people, that muslims are not terrorist. Its not in their advantage to make the world symphasize with islam, their intention is to make Islam look bad like its a threat to us all!!. How else would they get their oil and petrol? How else would they keep muslim countries down? How else would they continue to occupy and cage palestinians for 60 years? How else would they invade iraq and kill sadam? How else would they have invaded afghanistan? How else would they get the world ready to now invade Iran? How else would they make the world fear an imaginary threat so they could go by on their business of raping the world resources?

Those muslims that you see in the media or internet website killing people and doing/saying stupid things, man we cant even relate to them. "You must know Islam’s firm stance against all these terrible crimes which have been attributed to it. The world must know that Islam is the religion of peace and mercy and goodness; it is the religion of justice and guidance. It is a religion that prohibits all forms of injustice and the shedding of blood without genuine reason,"

About women:
O you who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should you treat them with harshness, that you may take away part of the dowry you have given them – except when they have become guilty of open lewdness. On the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If you take a dislike to them, it may be that you dislike something and God will bring about through it a great deal of good. (4:19)

The Shari’ah (Islamic Law) regards women as the spiritual and intellectual equals of men. The main distinction it makes between them is in the physical realm based on the equitable principle of fair division of labor. It allots the more strenuous work to the man and makes him responsible for the maintenance of the family. It allots the work of managing the home and the upbringing and training of children to the woman, work which has the greatest importance in the task of building a healthy and prosperous society.

Oh and btw if you feel sorry for muslim women, dont! We are happy and we feel respected and taken care of, honestly we dont need your symphathy because actually in reality we are the ones who feel sorry for YOU. We like being women and are not trying to be men like you. Every society has jerks, your telling me that no christian man beats his wife? BS Your telling me that no jewish man cheats on his wife? BS! stop magnifying all the faults of the islamic world and take a look at yourself because your not exactly charming either…

i’ve asked a similar question in the recent past, and i never got any satisfactory answer from any muslim. Excuses, and white lies were most of what i got from them.

for those who claim that they do speak out but the media does not listen… BULLSH*T!!

the media would love to feature such "enlightened muslims" who are brave enough to walk down the streets of London, NY, Toronto, Mecca, Islamabad, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur etc. – both men and women shouting "Put an End to Radical Islamist Terrorism!"; "Schools for our Daughters NOW"; "Down with the Taleban"! "Suicide Bombing is Against Islam!" carrying placards and banners etc.

tell me, when was the last time we saw such sights and sounds in our streets all over the world? i have been waiting for ages – NOTHING !

or maybe its becuase they are just too occupied protesting against the West, America and Israel. That they can always find the time to do while coveting the media coverage.

muslim women who want to fight for their rights in my country have met with all sorts of persecution from the men, many in the government and lawmakers. so i do know what i am talking about.
